You know how it goes… Chowderfest came and went in a flash, but I’m proud to say that achieved my goal (plus TWO!)
That’s right… 12 chowders down and I survived. Probably thanks to my Chowderfest Crew (my sis and boyfriend) who shared the chowders with me to avoid dairy overload.
Here’s a look at the 12 chowders I tried:

While I didn’t try any of the winners, I did think that Comfort Kitchen & Farmer’s Harware deserved some recognition.
Comfort Kitchen’s was SO good and unique. It was a bacon, beer & brussels sprout chowder that was lighter but super flavorful and even had some mustard seeds in it. YUM.
