I don’t necessarily play favorites when it comes to local chefs, but there are a few that I’m definitely fond of.
Chef Brian Bowden is one of them.
Earlier this morning, I found out that Chef Bowden is opening a new restaurant, Radici Kitchen & Bar, in the former Bistro Tallulah space at 26 Ridge St. in Glens Falls.
Radici, meaning ‘roots’ in Italian, is an ode to Brian planting his roots and getting back to the roots of his passion.
Radici Kitchen & Bar, a neighborhood Italian restaurant, will feature fresh house-made pasta, seafood cuts from whole fish, hand-cut steaks, unique wine, classic cocktails, and more.
Brian tells me the restaurant will seat 50 people and will offer something for everyone. With a variety of small plates ranging from $8-12, daily $1 oysters, $18-25 pasta dishes and entrees in the $30+, everything from pasta to dessert will be made in-house.
They’ll also have 14 draft lines which will feature a variety of craft beers, draft wine & prosecco on tap!
With an opening date for early January, this is SUPER exciting news for anyone who has followed Chef Bowden. Will keep you all posted once I get a firm opening date!
