Feel like eating some bomb barbeque, drinking some brews and supporting the American Red Cross’ Sandy relief? This Saturday, November 24th, the Backstretch Barbeque is making that happen. After a belly full of turkey on Thursday and blowing half of your savings on Black Friday, come by the Olde Saratoga Brewing Company on Saturday for this amazing event!
Backstretch Barbeque is a local competitive barbeque team based in Saratoga Springs and will be on the scene until the 100 pounds of pork they’re making is gone. Yupp, all 100 pounds of pork. With these guys will be their eight-foot smoker, and they will be serving their dry-rubbed, smoked pulled pork on sandwiches and a la carte in larger to-go containers.
Remember, all proceeds from sales will be donated to the American Red Cross to help those impacted by Hurricane Sandy and are still hurting from the damages. So put on your newest outfit and join me on Saturday at the Olde Saratoga Brewing Company, located at 131 Excelsior Avenue. I’m keeping my fingers crossed I’ll spot my Saratoga Idiot friends there and can’t wait to see everyone else there!
