When you’re choosing where to go out to eat, do you choose based on the entirety of the menu from a restaurant, or that one dish you love and are in the mood for?
For me, I’ve been realizing I’m choosing restaurants based around that one menu item I want rather than the entire menu they have to offer.
It’s as simple as always finding comfort in the Pad Thai from Sushi Thai, or the Nachos at Cantina. Knowing that whatever the season, the Lamb Chops at The Wine Bar are going to be delicious, and the Carpaccio Del Chianti from Chianti will sing melodies on my taste buds with every bite.
I know what I can depend on, I know what I love, and I know that I’m going to that restaurant for that one thing they do really well.
The list goes on and on for me, but I’m more curious to learn from you guys. What are you favorite, must-have dishes from restaurants around town that far surpass the other items they have on their menus?
