Longfellow’s Kobe Burger Never Disappoints

May 13, 2013

Whether or not you’ve heard me say it before, it needs to be said again. The best bang for your buck in Saratoga is at Longfellow’s. By just sitting at the bar, you can order a kobe beef burger with bacon and cheddar cheese AND a glass of house wine or select draft beers for $11.

Kobe Burger

Sure, the price has gone up a dollar in the past year, but it doesn’t even matter. $11 for this large, succulent, delicious kobe beef burger, a bowl of crisp and crunchy french fries and an alcoholic beverage. It’s a win, and I’m sorry for you if you have yet to get one there. I will confess, I have pretty much given up red meat for the most part, but every once in a while when I do indeed have the craving, this is the ONLY red meat that’s ever worth breaking my red meat fast for. Get er done and get to Longfellows!

Is this anytime in the bar or just happy hour? Oddly They don’t mention this deal on their website.

It is anytime at the bar! It’s surprising that it’s not mentioned online… Maybe it’s their best kept secret! 🙂

Thanks Ashley! I knew about this then put it out of mind and you have given me the prod I need. Next time I’m on the other side of the 87 and hunger strikes, it’s off to the bar at Longfellows!

There is no such thing as Kobe beef in America, and if there were, this burger would cost approximately $50.

There is no (or vanishingly small amounts) of Kobe beef in America.

What you ate was a Wagu (if they even used that beef in the first place) burger, and it was an insult to the beef to grind it.
