It’s Memorial Day weekend, but more importantly it’s National Wine Day AKA my favorite day of the year. In fact, I probably celebrated a little too much last night in preparation for the holiday.
Whoops.
Today I’m teaming up with Adirondack Winery and the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival to show you THREE amazing wine cocktail recipes made by yours truly.
Please note – All of these recipes will be featured at the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival on June 29th & 30th and all of these distilleries, wines and products will be available for purchase at the festival as well.
Get your tickets to the festival HERE. FYI, if you click on that link, you’ll notice there are coupon codes for 20% off the Saturday tasting ticket and 30% off the Sunday tasting ticket. These codes only last until May 27th at 11:45pm, so don’t delay!
Adirondack Sour
2 oz Taconic Distillery Whiskey
1/2 oz Amethyst Sunset Wine from Adirondack Winery
1/2 oz More Good Hibiscus Roobios Syrup
Juice from 1/4 Lemon
Directions: Pour whiskey, syrup & lemon juice in shaker with ice. Shake 10-12 times. Pour into glass with ice. Pour wine over a spoon into glass to give it a beautiful ombre look! You could also add an egg white in there to make it frothier, but I opted out for this one.
Strawberry Vodka Lemonade
2 oz Pick Six Strawberry Jam Vodka
1 oz Springbrook Hollow Limoncello
2 oz Soaring Strawberry Wine from Adirondack Winery
Juice from 1/2 Lemon
Club Soda or Seltzer
Directions: Pour vodka, limoncello, wine & lemon into shaker with ice. Shake 10-12 times and pour into glass with ice. Top with club soda or seltzer and garnish with a strawberry!
