When I think of a pork chop, I usually think back to dried out, cooked-white pork chops that took 20 minutes to chew each bite.
Back when I was growing up, this is what we ate sometimes (sorry Mom.)
But the Grilled Pork Chop at Next Door Kitchen & Bar recently changed the pork chop game for the better.
The pork chop is featured on their new fall menu, with bacon & sweet potato hash, ginger applesauce, kale-apple slaw, brown butter.
Sounds like the perfect fall meal, right? Well, it is.
I’m serious when I say that every single bite of this dish was perfection. I was basically licking the bone at the end of the meal, and you better believe there were no leftovers.
Textures were on point, but the meat was SO juicy, it was nothing like the pork chops I had growing up (again, sorry Mom.)
If you’re on the fence about pork chops, I highly HIGHLY recommend heading to Next Door Kitchen & Bar in Ballston Spa and giving this one a try. You will never think of pork chops the same again.
