Track season is officially OVERRRRR and for me, that means one exciting thing: the Saratoga Wine and Food Festival is this weekend!
I’ve been going to the wine and food festival for years, and I’m pumped more than ever before to attend this year for a few reasons.
First: The 4th Annual FIRED UP! event takes place on Friday night, where restaurant chefs compete for the title of people’s choice as well as judges choice.
Participating restaurants include:

- Druthers Brewing Company
- Henry Street Taproom
- Max London’s
- Morrissey
- Salt & Char
Tickets to this event are $85 and it’s always a great time.
Second: David Ortiz is going to be there. Whether you’re a Yankees fan, a Red Sox fan, or just a general baseball fan, you have to admit this is pretty baller. He will be at the Friday night event, but you have to buy special tickets to meet him.
Third: The Grand Tasting. How can you not love the grand tasting? You can sample as many different types of wines you want from all over the world. Oh right and you get to eat food from a bunch of local restaurants.
Win, win, win.
The grand tasting is from 12-4pm, which is more than enough time to make your way around and find your next favorite bottle of wine.
