It’s almost my favorite day of the year. Alright, second favorite day of the year (since Thanksgiving is definitely the best).
Yes, Black Friday is a splendid day, but not because of the big box stores like Walmart or Target. Instead, this is going to be the 4th year my sister and I raid downtown Saratoga and get the best Black Friday deals of all.
Most of my favorite downtown boutiques are participating in Black Friday Saratoga this year, an event put on by Network Saratoga where stores open up at 6am and offer incremental savings every hour throughout the morning. Here’s how it goes:
6am – 50% off
7am – 40% off
8am – 30% off
9am until closing – 20% off
Naturally, we visit stores at 6am and very strategically make our way around Saratoga before 7am. If you think I’m going to share my methods with you, you’re crazy, but I will tell you some of the participants!
