This weekend there’s TWO awesome events happening, one right in downtown Saratoga and the other, a weekend festival in the Adirondacks. Now are you intrigued?
Okay, first on the docket is Putnam Market‘s 20th Anniversary Celebration. Yes, you read that right – Putnam Market has been around for TWO DECADES, and they’re throwing a party to celebrate.
The event is today, Friday June 26th, from noon to 5pm and will include all-day demonstrations in The Wine Room, featuring food and wine pairings with artisanal cheese and specialties from the Putnam Market kitchens.
If the food part of the market is more your thing, they’re celebrating in there too.
On the other side of the Market, they’ll have samples of locally produced and sourced foods. The best news? The first 100 customers will receive gift bags featuring some of the staff’s favorite items. Raise your hand if you hope that includes a Catharine Sandwich.
It’s also worth mentioning that BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES will be available to all who attend. Ummmmmm YES PLEASE!
The event is free of charge, and open to the public. Be there or be square.
Once you stuff your face today with delicious treats from Putnam, you can go for a jog tomorrow morning and then get your drinking pants for the next awesome event.
Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th mark this year’s first annual Adirondack Wine and Food Festival in Lake George Village!
From 12-6pm on Saturday, and 12-5pm on Sunday, indulge in the areas greatest foods, wines, and craft beers, with the beautiful Lake George as your backdrop.

When I told you this weekend was filled with things to do, was I right or was I right? From this afternoon all the way through Sunday evening, you can indulge in food, wine, beer, or even liquor, if that’s your thing. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that the weather will hold out.
