Wonton Soup at Great Tangs

January 13, 2018

I actually cannot believe I haven’t talked about this on the blog before, but the wonton soup at Great Tangs is one of my favorite things to eat, ever.

Yes, I’m talking about Great Tangs, that Chinese/Sushi/Thai restaurant in the Price Chopper plaza on Route 50.

What makes it so great? Here are some of the reasons:

  1. Handmade wontons. Like, I’ve actually seen them make them, so I can attest to them being handmade.
  2. Affordability. For a small (which is 4 wontons) it’s $2.25, and for a large (with 8 wontons) it’s $3.75. WTF!?!
  3. Melt in your mouth. These suckers are little bites sent from the heavens above. They melt in your mouth and are super flavorful.
  4. Take out or dine in! You don’t even have to eat it there – you can get it as take out and it’s still amazing. However, I do find that having it at the restaurant is slightly better because of the plastic take out container they’re put in when you order to go.

I mean… do I need any other reasons?

All I can say is I’m sorry for holding on to this for as long as I have. It’s truly not fair to the rest of you.

Go on now, and give them a try if you haven’t already.

And if you don’t like them…. it’ll still cost you less than $4 to try. You’re welcome.
