Guide to Take Out Specials in Saratoga

August 3, 2015

When you think of take out, a lot of you probably think pizza or chinese food.

I’m here to change that.

We’re lucky in Saratoga to have several restaurants that focus one day a week on a take out item that’s affordable, and upscale. And I promise, much better than any chinese food you can find around here.

So with that said, here’s a look at the take out specials you can expect from restaurants on a weekly basis:

Saratoga Take-Out Guide Augie’s

Chicken Parm Monday To Go at Augie’s is one of the most popular to go specials around. This comes with ziti, salad, and bread (feeds 3-4 people) and costs $21.95. Every Monday.

Wheatfields

Two for $20 to go at Wheatfields will feed two people for only $20. Every Monday there’s a dinner menu, but it always includes fresh, handcrafted pasta, salad, bread & herb butter. This special is offered in both locations, Saratoga and Clifton Park.

Wishing Well

The Wishing Well offers a ‘Tuesdays to Go’ menu every Tuesday.  You can order dinner for two for $25, dinner for four for $45, or dinner for six for $65. Pick it up and take it home, it’s as simple as that!

The Brook Tavern

Similar to their sister restaurant, The Wishing Well, Brook Tavern also offers a Tuesdays to Go menu that you can order and pick up in a cinch!

  • Dinner for Two, $25
  • Dinner for Four, $45
  • Dinner for Six, $65

Jacob and Anthony’s

Dinner Table Tuesday is the promo at J&A’s, and while it changes weekly, you can pretty much rely on there to be a salad, pasta, and bread all packed up and ready to go for $22.95. While their website doesn’t indicate how many people it can feed, I would guess it feeds around 3-4 people.

Longfellows

Every Tuesday and Wednesday, Longfellows offers dinner for two for $25.99! It changes weekly, but is typically an entree item served with dinner rolls and a garden salad. Pre-order by 5 pm and pick up between 5 and 8pm.
